FACEBOOK ACCUSED OF BREAKING ANTITRUST LAWS

The US government and 48 states and territories have sued Facebook for illegally crushing competition, and are seeking to break up the company by overturning its acquisitions of Instagram and WhatsApp. Their complaint against the company is that over the years, it has unlawfully maintained its monopoly in the social networking space by eliminating competition.
