ENVIRONMENTALIST SUNDERLAL BAHUGUNA DIES

Sunderlal Bahuguna, the Gandhian who was the driving force behind the legendary Chipko movement against deforestation that marked a key milestone in Indian environmentalism, succumbed to Covid at AIIMS, Rishikesh on Friday. He was 94.
